As a freelance writer, analytical self-starter, and researcher with an entrepreneurial background...it is my focus to breath life into a piece with a written notable persuasive slant that grabs the reader's attention within the first 30 seconds keeping the reader emotionally connected.

Twenty years ago, "putting out a shingle" was enough. Today's shingle is the art of power writing and in understanding an individuals writing needs and then professionally meeting them.

Interpersonal skills, brief studies in the human psyche, and a diversified work history experience, are used to mesh an accredited course in the art of creative writing with work of imagination, incentive, and credibility for a sparkling impact.

A growing list of professional sources provides accuracy of researched information, while on-going education, and topic-specific lectures augments insight to provide a fine product fit. . .

SKILLS:

* Since 2005 CeCe Day Hill has published the Jane Doe Chronicles on thought provoking commentary and analysis, and contributes to the Dear Jane, Jane Doe Chronicles Column on (Yedda, Inc.) and progressively pens for online markets, in addition to working on articles and stories for publication.

* Incorporated Bellezzama Art Glass of Distinction, Inc., a start up using controlled integration of systems: stained glass product design, fabrication, sales and the marketing of custom hand-cut soldered collectibles and museum art replicas over 100 years old. Creative writing skills and thoroughness in research were used to develop promotional material, name branding and to further a full circle of activities both online and brick-and-mortar that generated the company bottom line wholesale and retail.

* One of the more difficult projects I am most proud of, was as a freelance writer and Board Chairman, with oversight authority, of the Chicago Postal Customer Advisory Council representing the people of Chicago.

Drawing upon years of tested writing techniques and business experience in Accounting, Banking, Manufacturing, Public Relations and the civic-political arena, proved instrumental in revamping and rewriting the Washington D.C. Test Advisory program.

My overall experience allowed me to successfully influence the discourse in different venues taking the rating for mail delivery and customer satisfaction from 64% to 90.1% by 1999, through improved efficiency standards and motivation incentives within the 50 Chicago Postal Stations.

HONORS AND AWARDS:

Award Recognition: 1999 presented by Postmaster General of the United States Bill Henderson, and in 1996 presented by Chicago District Manager/Postmaster Rufus F Porter - for contributions to the Chicago Postal Customer Advisory Council and the United States Postal Service.

Written testimony was presented before the Washington Congressional Sub-Committee held in Chicago as to whether the postal service should be returned under the jurisdiction of Congress in connection with the test Advisory program.

COMMENTARY:

My computer is like a football playing field. For football is won on the practice field in a grueling yet uplifting experience with each training session.

Anyone can pen the written word. . . . But, it is difficult moments of development and tweaking which becomes the grueling sessions and creative madness of the writer's playing field as one clicks across the keyboard in a blazing flame of creativity and intrigue selecting words of garnishment, like carving out a diamond out of the rough, so it delivers the goods giving the reader the pleasure they seek or one that allows them to justify a reason for taking a specific risk or action.
